As you can tell the boys loved eating their birthday cake!
Special thanks to Megan for taking all of these cute pictures!
Married my high school sweetheart and I'm fortunate to be a stay at home Mom to Grace, Jack, and Reid. Can't fail to mention that our family also includes two dogs Diesel and Lola. Our life can be a bit crazy at times but I wouldn't have it any other way. Follow us on our adventures...

Silly
Rain Rain Go Away! We got spoiled with a few nice days and now it has been raining non stop. The kids were all enjoying the backyard while it was nice and now we have been stuck in the house. We are bored and going stir crazy! I'm not sure how we ever made it through the winter.
These are the faces Grace gives me when the camera comes out.
And these are the faces Jack gives me, look familiar? Everytime he looks at the camera he closes his eyes and makes this face.

Happy Birthday!
We just had a great weekend of celebrating birthdays. My nephew Jopseph turned three on May 20th, then Grace turned three on May 22nd and then the twins turned one on May 24th. It's such a fun time of year to have all of the family birthdays. Joseph and Grace are practically like twins and they are the best of friends. It's been so much fun watching them grow up together. We had beautiful weather for a wonderful party to celebrate. I seriously can't believe Jack and Reid are one already! Where has the last year gone?!
I hope to post some pictures from the party soon. Unfortunately, chasing two one year olds around didn't allow me to have a camera in hand. I'm not sure why...ha ha! I think a few other people took some pictures though :-)
Here are some recent pictures.

I remember last year at this time vividly. I remember being uncomfortable and thinking how could my stomach possibly get any bigger. I remember the countless trips to the bathroom. I remember feeling exhausted after chasing Grace around and thinking how much more can my body possibly take. I remember trips to the park with Grace and people would look at me and say "Please tell me you have more than 1 baby in your stomach." I remember how getting up and down from the couch or bed was not an easy task. I remember how I loss hearing in my one ear towards the end of the pregnancy and wondering if it would ever come back after the twins were born. (By the way it did come back but it took some time). I remember how the dogs would always curl right up on my big belly. I remember rocking Grace at night and she would wiggle around trying to find room on my lap. I remember the night before I went into labor Mike was working late and Grace was resisiting going to bed. I put her in our bed and she snuggled up with me and was being such a sweetheart. It was almost like she knew that this was our chance to have some last minute alone time. Most of all I remember the feelings of complete excitement and fear!
I can't believe I'm even going to post these pictures. Words can't even describe my belly...These were taken at Grace's 2nd Birthday party and the twins were born 2 days later. I was 36 weeks pregnant.

Wow!!
Two days after Grace's 2nd birthday this was us (minus Grace)..so happy to be holding our two healthy babies. Let the fun begin :-)
Looking back at this year I can't believe how far we have come. It's been a crazy year but we have officially made it through year 1 of having twins!! I'm so thankful for our three healthy children and for my amazing husband who is the best Dad ever. We couldn't have made it through the year without the support of our amazing family (especially Nana).
