Scallen and McCarthy Family Party 2011

All of us getting together this year meant a party with 11 kids and one on the way! It was quite the party and luckily Katie and Tommy volunteered to host. I'm not sure I can handle that many people and kids at my house. It was great to see our cousins and so much fun to get all of our little one's together. We attempted to get a group picture of all of the kids. It went a little something like this....

Even Santa visited us at the party. Thanks Uncle Brian!

First Snow Fall of the year!

Trying to get caught up on my blogging! These pictures are from a few weeks ago. The kids loved playing in the snow. I loved seeing them all bundled up and barely able to walk.

My snow angel!

Just love how blue Reid's eyes are in this picture

Taking a ride on the sled. Reid in the front and of course he loved it. Jack "Mr Cautious" was not so sure at first, but he warmed up quickly.

Of course they also had to stomp around in the only mud puddle in the yard. Boys are really something else. Grace would never want to get her boots dirty like that!

Do Not Leave Unattended

The baby gate at the top of our steep wood stairs....

No fear....

Dropping toys down the vent...

Removing the vent...

Oh Reidzilla...look at that face! Trouble!

The Christmas tree, poinsettias, and stockings have been a huge hit this year. They have to touch everything!

At the Dr.'s office...hiding in the cabinets

And when we tell them No! We see a lot of this lately....

Fall Family Pictures

This day was interesting to say the least....I thought I was so well prepared for our family pictures, but some things you just can't plan for! Jack woke up that morning with a bad cough and cold. He was fussy and just not himself. Grace and Reid must have been starting to get what Jack had because overall the kids were not very happy. These three are usually all smiles and this day was just not the case! Luckily we had a great photographer who still managed to get some good pictures. I'm happy we were able to capture this moment in time for our family. Mike and I will certainly not forget this day ;-) Thanks babe for being such a good sport. It will only get easier next year when the boys are two right?!
Yes...Jack has a stick in his mouth!
